A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of assisting a wonderful friend and talented photographer, Asher Gardner, create her second annual “Brides and Besties” Brunch. It was an amazing opportunity to help foster a sense of community among her clientele as well as nurture a wonderful group of diverse brides and the best friends that support them throughout the Wedding Planning process.
I knew I wanted to create a clean, modern look to go along with her beautiful brand aesthetic. We rented a gorgeous space downtown and decorated it with beautifully made items from L’ Entramise, whimsical flowers from Petals and Roots and signage from Anne Callahan Designs. amazing food from Two Crepes. One of absolute favorite touches were signature cocktails by Pomp & Whimsy. It’s an incredible gin liquor that adds a beautiful floral touch to any cocktail. We mixed with grapefruit juice, tonic water and a squeeze of lime to create “The Whippet” and it was the perfect brunch drink and color :)
